About Dr. Rizvi

Dr. Rizvi is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in depression, mood regulation and anxiety. Dr. Rizvi also has unique specialization in treating complex and chronic pain conditions and is a member of the Northern California Association of Pain Psychologist. In addition to general psychotherapy, Dr. Rizvi works with clients on issues of grief and bereavement and trained on the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit of the Palo Alto VA. Dr. Rizvi prioritizes culturally competent care and she currently serves as the Diversity Committee Chair of the Santa Clara County Psychological Association.

Dr. Rizvi enjoys working with adolescents and adults and currently sees patients in San Jose and via video-medicine across the State of California.

Dr. Rizvi completed her postdoctoral fellowship at San Mateo Medical Center and her predoctoral internship at Marin County Health and Human Services. Dr. Rizvi earned her masters and doctoral degrees from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Portland State University.
